Softball Recap: Silverado Wins Going Away Against Spring Valley

Silverado's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 21-5 margin over the Spring Valley Grizzlies. The game marked the Skyhawks' most dominant win of the season.

Silverado got a massive performance out of Jordyn Bunce, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. Those six RBI gave Bunce a new career-high. Aaliyah Reed also deserves some recognition as she scored her first runs of the season.

Silverado's record is now 4-11. As for Spring Valley, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-6 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Silverado will take on Green Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Skyhawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Gators have averaged an impressive 9.2 runs per game this season. As for Spring Valley, they will square off against Doral Academy Red Rock at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Dragons will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Grizzlies surely won't give up without a fight.
