Volleyball Recap: Emmanuel Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Emmanuel Christian Academy lost against Dayton Christian back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lions fell 2-0 to the WARRIORS. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Macey Hudson paced Emmanuel Christian Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Hudson got some help from Mya Lawrence and her eight assists. Finally, Hudson was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Grace Donahue was the offensive standout of the game as she had three digs and three aces. Donahue is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Emmanuel Christian Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Dayton Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Coincidentally, Emmanuel Christian Academy and Dayton Christian will both be playing Wayne the next time they take the court. The Lions will head out to face the Warriors at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the WARRIORS will play them later in the day, at 11:30 a.m.
