Greenville gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They strolled past Calhoun with points to spare, taking the game 81-67. For Greenville, this counts as revenge for the 62-56 victory Calhoun walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

Calhoun lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Taylor Robertson, who almost dropped a double-double with 19 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Jamel Mason, who went 10-for-17 en route to 24 points.

Calhoun's record is now 1-1.

Greenville has already played their next game, a 69-54 win against Hillcrest on the 15th. As for Calhoun, they will take on Keith at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
