Basketball Recap: Monroe City Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Monroe City couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of Palmyra by a score of 36-33 on Friday. The matchup marked Monroe City's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Monroe City's loss dropped their record down to 19-6. As for Palmyra, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-6.

As of now, neither Monroe City nor Palmyra have any future games scheduled.
