Volleyball Recap: Juarez Takes a Loss

Juarez was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Mansueto Leopards. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.

Juarez was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Mansueto work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-12, 27-25.

Juarez's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Mansueto, their win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-5.

Looking ahead, Juarez will face off against Simeon at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mansueto, they will square off against Comer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
