Basketball Recap: Centerville Makes It 13 in a Row at Home

Centerville posted their closest win since February 1, 2024 on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 57-55 victory over the Richmond Red Devils. The win was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on three straight.

Centerville's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaden Mccord, who posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Ethan Vecera, who earned eight points and five boards.

Centerville's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-6. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.2 points per game. As for Richmond, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.
