Volleyball Recap: Rocky River Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Rocky River was the 3-0 winner over Berry when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Ravens lost 3-0 to the Cardinals on Tuesday.

Rocky River took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-21, 26-24.

Leading Berry to victory were Sanye Miller and Alexa Traynham. Miller had eight aces and five assists, while Traynham had five aces and one assist. That's the most aces Miller has posted since back in September of 2024.

Rocky River dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Berry, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Coming up, Rocky River will venture away from home to face off against Garinger at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, Berry and West Cabarrus will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
