Basketball Recap: Freeman Extends Road Winning Streak to Six

Freeman won the last time they faced Malcolm and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Freeman Falcons walked away with a 59-52 victory over the Malcolm Clippers. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked eighth, while the Clippers are ranked 56th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Malcolm's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Preston Kucera, who posted 19 points, and Carson Frank, who scored 18 points.

Freeman pushed their record up to 13-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Malcolm, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4.

Freeman will welcome Wilber-Clatonia at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Wilber-Clatonia is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.7 points per game this season. As for Malcolm, they are taking a road trip to challenge York at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
