Volleyball Recap: Westover Christian Academy Takes Down Ranked Timberlake Christian

Westover Christian Academy faced Timberlake Christian in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Tornadoes by a score of 2-0. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Westover Christian Academy can attribute much of their success to Grace Woodard, who had 21 assists and seven digs. That's the most assists Woodard has posted over her last six contests. Gracie Loftis also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Westover Christian Academy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Timberlake Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westover Christian Academy will host Temple Christian at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Timberlake Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Brookville at 7:00 p.m.
