Soccer Game Preview: Heritage vs. Dade County

Heritage is on a five-game streak of home wins, while Dade County is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Generals will host the Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Heritage will be strutting in after a win while Dade County will be coming in after a loss.

Heritage's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe 8-0. Heritage haven't had any issues with Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Dade County unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Wednesday. They lost 6-2 to Trion. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Dade County couldn't quite close it out.

Dade County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Heritage, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.

Heritage was able to grind out a solid victory over Dade County in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, winning 3-1. Will the Generals repeat their success, or do the Wolverines have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
