Football Recap: Atwater Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Atwater blew Buhach Colony out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Buhach Colony got their revenge. The Falcons fell just short of the Thunder by a score of 42-40. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Falcons have suffered since October 25, 2024.

Despite the loss, Atwater still got an impressive performance from Durrell Morrison, who rushed for 240 yards and three TDs while picking up 10.9 yards per carry, and also caught one touchdown. Morrison was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 65 yards. Another player making a difference was Ali Banks Jr, who threw for 94 yards and three touchdowns.

Atwater's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Buhach Colony, the win also got them back to even at 3-3.

Atwater wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 48-42 victory against El Capitan on the 10th. As for Buhach Colony, they have also already played their next game, a 20-19 defeat against Golden Valley on the 10th.
