It was a good run, but Training Center Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell to the Midland Adventist Academy Mustangs 63-57. Training Center Christian was probably out for revenge after losing 60-49 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Training Center Christian's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-3. As for Midland Adventist Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Training Center Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Outreach Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Training Center Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Outreach Christian likes a good challenge. As for Midland Adventist Academy, they will face off against Chesterton Academy of St. Philip Neri at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
