Volleyball Recap: Northwestern Comes Up Short

Northwestern lost against Iroquois back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats came up short against the Braves, falling 3-0.

Northwestern was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-12, 25-16.

Northwestern's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Iroquois, they pushed their record up to 11-8-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Northwestern is set to take on their familiar foe Corry at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Iroquois will square off against rival Fairview at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
