Basketball Game Preview: Thornapple Kellogg Trojans vs. Northview Wildcats

Thornapple Kellogg and Northview are an even 4-4 against one another since January of 2015, but not for long. The Thornapple Kellogg Trojans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Northview Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Last Tuesday, Thornapple Kellogg ended up a good deal behind South Christian and lost 52-35. The loss continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Sailors: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Northview beat Wyoming 49-37 on Tuesday. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by exactly 12 points.

Thornapple Kellogg's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Northview, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-9.

Thornapple Kellogg was able to grind out a solid win over Northview in their previous matchup back in January, winning 56-48. Will Thornapple Kellogg repeat their success, or does Northview have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
