Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Warriors vs. Lakewood Presbyterian Knights
On Thursday, Trinity Christian Academy strolled past Lakewood Presbyterian with points to spare, taking the game 48-29.
Despite the loss, Lakewood Presbyterian saw an underclassman step up: Sarah Montgomery scored ten points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Maya Kinson, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds and two blocks.
Trinity Christian Academy's win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-1. As for Lakewood Presbyterian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Faustina Academy the next time they take the court. Lakewood Presbyterian will head out to face Faustina Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Trinity Christian Academy will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on February 8th.
