Soccer Recap: Otter Valley Takes a Loss

Otter Valley lost against Twin Valley on September 5th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Otters lost 8-0 to the Wildcats. While losing is never fun, Otter Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Vermont soccer rankings (they are ranked 52nd, while Twin Valley are ranked seventh).

This is the second loss in a row for Otter Valley and nudges their season record down to 1-8. As for Twin Valley, their win bumped their record up to 8-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Otter Valley will head out to challenge Randolph at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Twin Valley, they will challenge Green Mountain Union at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
