Basketball Game Recap: Winslow Bulldogs vs. Window Rock Fighting Scouts

If Window Rock wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Winslow, they should've done a better job of containing Isaac David. The Winslow Bulldogs took down the Window Rock Fighting Scouts 56-40 on Saturday thanks in part to David, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 13 boards. That's the most points he has posted since back in November of 2023.

Window Rock lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jayden Lilly, who posted eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Young, who put up 11 points.

Winslow picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 4-2. As for Window Rock, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-5.

Winslow wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 68-67 loss against Tuba City on the 10th. As for Window Rock, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 67-42 defeat against Gallup on the 10th.
