Baseball Recap: Brighton Extends Winning Streak to Three

Brighton won the last time they faced D'Evelyn and things went their way on Tuesday too. Brighton walked away with a 10-5 win over D'Evelyn. That's two games straight that the Bulldogs have won by exactly five runs.

Jude Bachicha tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up three earned runs off only two hits.

On the hitting side, Austin Sickler was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-5. Blake Robinson was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-5.

The victory (which was Brighton's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 11.3 runs this season. As for D'Evelyn, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Brighton has already played their next match, a 6-5 victory against Shady Side Academy on the 19th. As for D'Evelyn, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 14-4 win against Standley Lake on the 25th.
