Baseball Recap: Bledsoe County Takes a Loss

Bledsoe County fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Marion County on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of Marion County by a score of 4-3. Bledsoe County hasn't had much luck with Marion County recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Bledsoe County's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Marion County, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Coming up, Bledsoe County will venture away from home to square off against Rockwood at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Marion County, they will host Warren County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in the Warriors' favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while the Pioneers & Lady Pioneers have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
