Baseball Recap: Ashland Comes Up Short

Ashland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 9-6 to the New Philadelphia Quakers. If the Arrows were looking for revenge after losing 8-2 to the Quakers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Ashland's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for New Philadelphia, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.

While Ashland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
