Softball Recap: Presentation Takes a Loss

Presentation had lost three straight on the road, but on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 2-6 to make it four. They lost 18-2 to the Portland Christian Eagles. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

As for Portland Christian, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 19-11. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 contests by six runs or more this season.

For Portland Christian's part, they got a massive performance out of Galilee Farmer, who went 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave Farmer a new career-high. Bailey Atcher was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, four runs, and two RBI.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Presentation will host Shawnee at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Portland Christian, they will challenge North Hardin Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
