Soccer Recap: Rivera Comes Up Short

If Rivera was riding high fresh off their 5-0 takedown of Porter last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rivera Raiders fell just short of the Donna North Chiefs by a score of 1-0 on Friday. The Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Chiefs earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Rivera's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Donna North, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-6.

Coming up, Rivera will welcome Mercedes at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Donna North, they will head out on the road to face off against Pace at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
