Softball Recap: Wright Tech Comes Up Short

Wright Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Wolcott RVT Wildcats, falling 16-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-2 back in April.

Wright Tech's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Wolcott RVT, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-6.

Coming up, Wright Tech will challenge Wilcox RVT at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Indian will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Wolcott RVT, they will face off against Northwestern Regional at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
