Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Serena). They blew past the Aurora Christian Eagles 20-2 on Friday. The Huskers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 matches by ten  runs or more this season.
 Cassie Walsh was a  major factor no matter where she played. She  pitched four innings while giving up just two earned runs off   four  hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances with three  runs and three  RBI. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in April of 2024.
 In other batting news, Serena let  RayElle Brennan and  Brynley Glade run wild. Brennan  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with one  home run, seven  RBI,  and three  runs, while  Glade  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, five  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  five  RBI gave  Glade a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jenna Setchell, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with two  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double.
 Serena was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .529. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Aurora Christian only posted a  batting average of  .250.
The  victory was  the seventh in a row for Serena, bringing their record up to 19-6. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Aurora Christian, they dropped their record down to 5-14 with the  defeat, which was their third straight  at home.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Serena will host Hall  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. The Huskers are facing the Red Devils at the right time seeing as the Red Devils are stuck on  an  11-game losing streak. As for Aurora Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Chicago Hope Academy  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. Chicago Hope Academy has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed seven  runs per game on average), something Aurora Christian will no doubt try to take advantage of.
