Aquinas has gone 8-2 against Arrowhead Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Falcons will face off against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Aquinas has three straight victories, Arrowhead Christian has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Saturday, Aquinas made easy work of Capistrano Valley and carried off a 12-2 win.

Hayden Vanderhoof tossed a big game, pitching 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Johnny Tena was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Hadnot, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with four stolen bases and three runs.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Monday. Arrowhead Christian took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rancho Christian.
Ethan Estrada was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out seven batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits (and only one walk).
At the plate, Arrowhead Christian saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Polanco, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double. That double marked the first that Polanco has hit this season.
Aquinas' victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Arrowhead Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
Monday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Aquinas hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .313. However, it's not like Arrowhead Christian struggles in that department as they've averaged .327. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Aquinas got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against Arrowhead Christian by a conclusive 13-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
