Basketball Game Preview: Jupiter Warriors vs. Palm Beach Gardens Gators + Official Tickets

Jupiter is 1-9 against Palm Beach Gardens since December of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Warriors will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Gators at 7:30 p.m. Jupiter is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.

Last Friday, Jupiter beat King's Academy 52-40.

Jupiter's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Devyn Godfrey, who posted 16 points along with six boards and three steals. Kaydince Hallas was another key player, dropping a double-double with 12 points and 15 rebounds.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Palm Beach Gardens and Dwyer, and Dwyer kept the tradition alive. The Gators fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 50-47 last Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Gators have suffered since January 21st.

Jupiter will need to focus on slowing down LaTasha Whyte, one of several Palm Beach Gardens players who made an impact when they last played. She dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten boards. The matchup was Whyte's third in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Kalia LaBrec, who shot 40% from the field on her way to 17 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

Jupiter's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Palm Beach Gardens, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
