Softball Recap: Lexington Comes Up Short on the Road Against St. Benedict at Auburndale

Lexington had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the St. Benedict at Auburndale Eagles by a score of 6-4 on Saturday.

Kk Simko made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole four bases while going 1-for-1.

Coming up, Lexington will square off against Covington at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for St. Benedict at Auburndale, they will head out on the road to face off against Brighton at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
