Basic has gone a perfect 3-0 against Eldorado recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Wolves will challenge the Firehawks at 6:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.

Basic is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nevada's top teams: Bishop Gorman, who was ranked 21st at the time (Basic was ranked seventh). The Wolves put the hurt on the Gaels with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Gaels: they've now won five in a row.

Basic never let Bishop Gorman on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 29-27, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Eldorado had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against Rancho on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Firehawks not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 7th (when they won 3-0).

While Eldorado won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-22, 25-16.

Basic's victory bumped their record up to 24-10. As for Eldorado, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 7-20.

Everything went Basic's way against Eldorado in their previous meeting on April 9th, as Basic made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolves since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
