Prattville Christian Academy is 8-1-1 against Tallassee since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Prattville Christian Academy Panthers challenge Tallassee Tigers at 5:00 p.m. Prattville Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.

If Prattville Christian Academy beats Tallassee with 12 runs on Thursday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Panthers blew past Montgomery Catholic 12-3 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Prattville Christian Academy got a great performance from Alivia Messick as she pitched six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. Messick has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Peyton Thrash was a standout: she fired off five RBI, three runs, and three doubles while going 4-for-4. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February. Chloe Hollon was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one double.

Prattville Christian Academy hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five strikeouts batters in four consecutive games.

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Tallassee's good fortune finally ran out two weeks ago. They lost 11-1 to Wetumpka. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Tigers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Tallassee's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Prattville Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 22-5.

Prattville Christian Academy skirted past Tallassee 5-3 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
