Volleyball Recap: St. James Takes a Loss

St. James extended their losing streak to 21 on Tuesday, dropping them down to 3-26-1. They lost 3-0 to the Owensville Dutchmen. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Dutchmen this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat back in September.

As for Owensville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-17-2. They not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 18th (when they won 3-0).

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Owensville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Reece Hampton, who had nine assists and six aces. Those six aces gave Hampton a new career-high. Ava Schulte was another key player, getting three digs and two aces.

As of now, neither St. James nor Owensville have any future games scheduled.
