Softball Recap: Summerville Takes a Loss

Summerville lost against Linden back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Summerville lost 13-3 to Linden. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Summerville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kiersten Lutz, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI Lutz has posted since back in March of 2024.

Summerville now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Linden, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 4-5.

While Summerville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
