Soccer Recap: Queen's Grant Comes Up Short

After soaring to nine goals the game before, Queen's Grant was a bit more limited in their matchup on Monday. They fell 3-1 to the Monroe Redhawks. Queen's Grant were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Monroe apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2022.

Queen's Grant's goal came courtesy of Jaimie Eason, who's now up to seven this season.

Queen's Grant now has a losing record of 3-4-1. As for Monroe, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Queen's Grant will take on Piedmont Community Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Monroe, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Parkwood at 6:00 p.m.
