Soccer Recap: Wharton Comes Up Short

Wharton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Hallettsville Brahmas, falling 4-0. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Brahmas from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Wharton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Hallettsville, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wharton will host Rice Consolidated at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hallettsville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Palacios at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
