Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Goreville walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Shawnee Redskins 90-35. The Blackcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 contests by 22 points or more this season.

Shawnee's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kyler Jewell, who posted 17 points and five rebounds, and Noah Mayberry, who had 11 points and eight boards. Mayberry has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played.

Goreville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 19 of their last 20 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-3 record this season. Shawnee's loss was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-25.
