Recap: Wingfield Falcons vs. Jim Hill Tigers

This season hasn't been kind to the Wingfield Falcons, who are still winless after their fifth contest. They took a serious blow against Jim Hill on Thursday, falling 45-12. Wingfield was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-8.

They used a three-pronged attack on offense: Simya Porter, Katrina Collins, and Zy'kyria Atkinson posted three points each. Jayliah Shoto held things down on the boards with three rebounds.

Wingfield's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-5. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 10.3 points per game. As for Jim Hill, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Wingfield has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Warren Central at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th. Warren Central comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 19 points in their last nine games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Jim Hill, they will head out on the road to face off against Lanier at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
