With a playoff win on the line, Evergreen Park rose to the challenge on Friday. They didn't even let the Payton College Prep Grizzlies on the board, marking their second-straight 15-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won 16 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Evergreen Park pushed their record up to 18-14 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for Payton College Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 14-17-2.

As of now, neither Evergreen Park nor the Grizzlies have any future games scheduled.
