Enochs has gone 8-0-2 against Downey recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Enochs Eagles will be playing at home against the Downey Knights at 3:30 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Enochs' offense. They fell just short of Turlock by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Eagles came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 121st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 244th).

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Downey's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They and Pitman finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result kept the Knights happy, as they haven't lost a game since December 7, 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Gabriel Abarca, who's now up to two this season.

Enochs' loss dropped their record down to 10-3-1. Downey's draw gives them a new season record of 9-2-2.

Enochs beat Downey by a goal in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 1-0. Will Enochs repeat their success, or does Downey have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
