Grand Blanc won the last time they faced Bay City Western and things went their way on Monday too. The Bobcats' pitcher stepped up to hand the Warriors a 13-0 shutout. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by seven runs or more this season.

The result came thanks to Savannah Schultz's shutout, as she gave up just a hit and racked up 13 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Alaina Trotter, who went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Stevenson, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Grand Blanc kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bay City Western only managed one hit.

Grand Blanc's win bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Bay City Western, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Grand Blanc beat the Warriors by a score of 10-0 later that day.
