Baseball Recap: Marine Military Academy Find Success

Marine Military Academy made up a huge gap compared to their last game against La Villa, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Marine Military Academy Leathernecks were the clear victor by an 18-4 margin over the La Villa Cardinals on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Leathernecks as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Marine Military Academy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for La Villa, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-9.

Looking ahead, Marine Military Academy will welcome Harmony School of Innovation at 5:00 p.m. on March 26th. This will be Marine Military Academy's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for La Villa, they will venture away from home to face off against Premont at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. La Villa has given up an average of 10.5 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
