Shadle Park has gone 7-2 against Central Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Highlanders will head out on the road to face off against the Bears at 4:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Friday just wasn't the day for Shadle Park's offense. They lost 15-0 to Mt. Spokane on Friday. The match marked the first time this year in which the Highlanders were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Central Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch last Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Mt. Spokane, falling 18-1.

Central Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-6-1. As for Shadle Park, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-5.

Shadle Park might still be hurting after the 15-0 defeat they got from Central Valley in their previous matchup back in April of 2018. Can the Highlanders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
