Basketball Recap: Cedar View Christian's Win Ends Seven-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cedar View Christian). They managed a 66-62 win over the Temple Baptist Academy Royal Crusaders on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Seahawks as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Despite the loss, Temple Baptist Academy still got an impressive performance from Noah Mueller, who posted 29 points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Levi Tomlinson, who went 7 of 15 en route to 15 points.

Cedar View Christian's win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-6. As for Temple Baptist Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-6 record this season.

Cedar View Christian will challenge Berean Academy at 7:30 p.m. on February 7th. Berean Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.9 points per game this season. Temple Baptist Academy has already played their next game, a 74-50 victory against Clayton-Bradley Academy on the 3rd.
