Football Game Preview: Carlmont Scots vs. Burlingame Panthers + How To Watch

The Carlmont Scots will challenge the Burlingame Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Carlmont will be strutting in after a win while Burlingame will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Carlmont turned things around against Capuchino on Thursday. They walked away with a 31-19 victory over the Mustangs.

A big part of Carlmont's win came down to the chemistry between Brody Zirelli and his top target Dylan Sorensen. Zirelli threw for 196 yards and two touchdowns while Sorensen picked up 73 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Meanwhile, Burlingame played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 45-7 loss at the hands of King's Academy. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-7.

Burlingame's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Carlmont, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

Carlmont was taken down by Burlingame 38-0 in their previous matchup back in December of 2018. Thankfully for the Scots, Lucas Meredith (who rushed for 127 yards and a pair of scores on only 14 carries) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
