Basketball Recap: Simsboro Takes a Loss

Simsboro lost against Captain Shreve on Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Tigers received a blow as they fell 81-67 to the Gators. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Simsboro now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Captain Shreve, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Simsboro will head out to square off against Natchitoches Central at 6:00 p.m. on December 2. As for Captain Shreve, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Anacoco at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday. The Indians' defense has only allowed 26.5 points per game this season, so the Gators' offense will have their work cut out for them.
