Volleyball Recap: Versailles Takes a Loss

Versailles was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Eldon Mustangs. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Mustangs when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-11, 25-10.

Jaidyn Shelden was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 14 digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Versailles' loss dropped their record down to 5-16-2. As for Eldon, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-9.

Versailles has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Southern Boone on the 13th. As for Eldon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Calvary Lutheran on the 11th.
