Softball Recap: Wheeler Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Wheeler won the last time they faced Thrasher and things went their way on Tuesday too. Wheeler blew past Thrasher 11-1. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by nine runs or more this season.

Wheeler pushed their record up to 10-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Thrasher, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Wheeler will challenge rival Biggersville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Thrasher is set to square off against their familiar foe Tupelo Christian Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
