Volleyball Recap: Moffat County Comes Up Short

Moffat County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Grand Junction Tigers, falling 3-0. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Tigers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-10, 25-9.

Moffat County's offense was headlined by Bella Vanzo and Meadow Simpson, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Adrian Profumo and her five assists.

Moffat County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Grand Junction, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-12.

Moffat County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Gunnison on the 25th. As for Grand Junction, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Montrose on the 23rd.
