Volleyball Recap: Christiana Wins High-Profile Contest Against Mount Pleasant

Christiana faced Mount Pleasant in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Vikings narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Green Knights 3-2. For the Vikings, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Green Knights walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Christiana is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Mount Pleasant, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7.

Coming up, Christiana will face off against St. Mark's at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mount Pleasant, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Concord on the 1st.
