Baseball Game Preview: Norwell Clippers vs. Middleborough Sachems

Norwell is 2-8 against Middleborough since April of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Clippers will welcome the Sachems at 4:00 p.m. Norwell will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Norwell's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against East Bridgewater, sneaking past 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Clippers have posted since April 2nd.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Middleborough, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against Durfee by a score of 6-1 on Saturday.

Norwell's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4.
