Collierville hadn't done well against Nolensville recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Dragons had just enough and edged out the Knights 2-1. This was payback for the Dragons, who suffered a 2-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Despite the loss, Nolensville saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Sadie Deming had 12 assists and five digs.

The victory made it two in a row for Collierville and bumps their season record up to 17-8-1. As for Nolensville, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-8.
