Volleyball Recap: Lowndes Gets the Win

Lowndes posted their closest win since August 9th on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Glenwood Gators, sneaking past 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

Natalie Kolb was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 12 digs and three assists. That's the most digs she has posted over her last eight games. Dara Mason also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Lowndes' victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Glenwood, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Lowndes wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Colquitt County on the 26th. As for Glenwood, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Northside Methodist Academy on the 25th.
